Britain may join Nord Stream.
As experience shows, pricing-setting in Gazprom’s long-term contracts may be a lengthy process. Therefore, discussing Gazprom’s competitiveness on the British market would still be premature, comments Investcafe analytical department co-director Grigory Birg. The analyst admits, however, that despite competition from other gas importers, Russian gas still remains quite competitive on the British market, ‘due to the low contract prices for Russian gas, relative to continental Europe’.’In short, Gazprom’s success hinges upon its working conditions in the company,’ concludes the analyst.
