Lukoil pins hopes on overseas projects

After an unsuccessful 2011, Lukoil is determined to expand its foreign project portfolio. On Wednesday, January 18, Lukoil-Overseas, which operates Lukoil’s foreign projects, took over 6.6% from the Malaysian Petronas in a joint venture engaged in the development of fields in the Uzbek section off the Aral Sea coast.
